cruelty free

material wise, eetteri studio is committed to the best. in some applications this means synthetic, in others organic. the decision is made separately for each product, taking into account the intended use and comfort factors, as well as the ethical weight attached to the material

while all productions have an environmental impact, animal-derived materials are only considered in cases where there are no functionally equivalent alternatives available. although wool, silk and leather all have special properties, other materials can achieve equally good or even better results, which is why we have refrained from using them for now and focused on plant-based and technical materials

multi-purpose

multi-purpose items free up resources from multiple places. from the items themselves of course, but also from storage, and functions when making purchases. well thought out and produced quality is not only passed down from generation to generation in land and buildings, but also in timeless design

circular

eetteri studio’s designs are in most cases universal, easy-to-love, inheritable, and if all else fails, mono-material. when a product no longer serves its user, its recycling is significantly easier when it is not composed of several different materials, such as mixtures of synthetic and organic fibers. we take such factors into account right from the design table, serving not only users but also the ecosystem
