what is it with the weights on shoulders?
as a comfort seeker and performance junkie i have always wondered about flask vests as much as backpacks. why would anyone want to place weight on their upper body, straining the spine and core muscles? why not wear it on their hip, with a lower center of gravity and less strain?
pouch™ is experimental. it’ purpose is to provide both light support to the core, and sturdy pockets for a reasonable amount of weight. the tightness eliminates unnecessary bouncing. especially in running, the position is optimal for movement, as the hip and core remain relatively still compared to the limbs
there are two pockets located both at the front and the back of the belt, and the design doesn’t include any zippers. the product is kept as simple as possible. the elastic bands provide a light adjustment range, and capacity to attach poles, etc.

i also considered whether the belt have some kind of opening system or not. in my experience when it comes to ultra performances, comfort is more important than the ease of putting equipment on off. so for now, the belt is an elastic, fixed loop put on like pants
i haven’t seen a product like this on the market anywhere so far, and i’m super curious about its functionality and future possibilities. if you want to be amongst the first ones to try out this design, now’s the perfect time to get it!
